For this activity, work as a team to answer the questions below for source 1-3.  Designate one person to take notes and a person to be the spokesperson who will share the team answers.

1. Name the author(s) and title of each source?

2. Who is the intended audience for each source, in other words who do you think
    would read each source?

3. Is the purpose of the work to inform, persuade, generate discussion, entertain, etc.?  How can you use this in your research?

4. What source would you consider scholarly and why?
