Students click a link and are taken to a screen where they can type/draw/submit photos/audio of their thoughts on a topic. Everyone with the link can view thoughts as they are submitted. The instructor can moderate or not. Thoughts can be upvoted, liked, commented on, etc. TIP: When creating boards, the template cannot be changed later. Choose three different templates and then reuse them each semester (titles at the top of the Padlet can be changed as often as you want).

Audience response is the mission of Poll Everywhere. You can add these interactive activities (polls, competitions) to any existing presentation (ppt, google slides, keynote, etc.) whether in person or virtual.

This is useful for conducting and completing surveys, such as for feedback on how the class is going, or for capstone classes that might use surveys. Faculty can make and distribute surveys. Students can make surveys with faculty/staff approval. Qualtrics offers a wider range of survey question types and more branching/skip logic than free alternatives like Survey Monkey.

Quizizz lets you create a quick check for understanding that students can complete on their phones, synchronously or asynchronously. Students answer questions (multiple choice, poll, open ended, fill-in-the-blank) and the results are displayed for you and/or the class to see.
