Blough-Weis Library Floor Maps
What you can find on the first floor
The first floor of the Blough-Weis is the location of the library service desk where you can check out library material, borrow course reserves, and get assistance with library questions. There are two library classrooms on this floor: 104 and 123, the Caruso Mentoring and Innovation Center. The floor features multiple group study spaces along with computers, printers, and the copier. The librarian offices are located in rooms 110 through 116.Coffee and snacks are available at Scholarly Grounds. The library's collection of new books, graphic novels, leisure books, and material published by SU faculty are also on this floor.
What you can find on the second floor
The second floor of the Blough-Weis has the main library collection organized by the Library of Congress Call Numbers. The floor is dedicated to quiet study. It has 9 group study rooms, 5 of which are Chill Out Spaces. The library classroom 208 is located in the back right corner of this floor. The Apple Room and the Pennsylvania Room are on this floor. Both of these Special Collection are focused on specific topics. For more information or access to the material, you can contact the Archivist, Meg Garnett.
The library's all-gender restrooms are on the second floor.
What you can find on the lower level
The lower floor of the Blough-Weis is the location of the University Archives. The VIP center is on this floor along with a lactation room and SU free pantry. There are two study rooms available on the floor, one of which is a Chill Out Space. Collections on this floor include: Videos, CDs, Music Scores, Juvenile/Young Adult, Oversized Material, Reference, Print Journals, and Microform.
