General Rules for Connecting From Off-Campus
Our subscription database and journal resources are limited to use by students, faculty and staff who are on the Susquehanna University campus network. A virtual extension of that network is provided by our Library Gateway, which allows you to use those resources even when you are not physically on the campus. In order for the Gateway to be effective, you must follow a few simple rules.
- Always connect to library resources through the library website, the library Databases List, or one of the library's Research Guides.
- During each browser session, the first time you connect to an online resource, you will be prompted to enter your Susquehanna University computer account information. When entering your account name, please enter only the part prior to the @ sign. Remember that the password is case-sensitive. Please see the screen shot at right.
