The library welcomes gifts of books, manuscripts, and other materials that are deemed to be within the scope of its collection. Acceptance of donations will be guided by the standards and policies that apply to library purchases, along with other criteria such as:

• Connection to Susquehanna University and its history.
• Material condition and need for conservation treatment.
• Available room for housing material.

While gifts to the library are appreciated, upon donation these items become library property and the library reserve the right to retain or dispose of these items as librarians deem appropriate.

Please Note: Library staff members cannot appraise gifts for the tax purposes of the donor.

You can also support the library through a monetary donation. Financial contributions support student internships as well as purchasing library materials and processing collections.

If you wish to give money to the library, you can use the the Susquehanna Gift Page. To designate the library as the recipient of your donation, click on View All Funds. Blough-Weis Library should be the first option you see.
