Create an Email Alert in Business Source Ultimate (EBSCOhost)

  1. Type company, industry code, subject in search box (you can change “Select a Field” to “Company Entity” or “Ticker Symbol,” etc., for better results.)
  2. Click on “Search.”
  3. At the results page click on “Share:” 
  4. Click on “Email Alert:” 
  5. Sign in or create a new EBSCOhost account (if you don’t already have one)
  6. Choose your preferred options for your alert output (email subject line, alert frequency, formatting, etc.)
  7. “Save Alert”

Create an Email Alert in the Wall Street Journal via ProQuest

  1. Go to “Advanced Search.”
  2. Type your company, industry, topic in the search box.  Change the “Anywhere” box to company name, NAICS (for industry), product name, etc.
  3. Click on “Search.”
  4. At the results page click on  (at right, above the results)
  5. Choose “Create Alert.”
  6. At the top of the page, click on the link to create a My Research account so you can save, modify, delete, or view all of your alerts. 
  7. After you’ve created your My Research account, complete steps 1 through 4 of the “Create Alert” form.
  8. Click on “Create Alert” at the bottom of the page.
