Borrowing & Renewing: Community Borrowers

Non-Susquehanna visitors, 17 years of age or older, may apply for borrowing privileges if they are:

• Community member - Eligible to purchase a $25 library card valid for one year. Community members may borrow up to five items at a time. All applicants must provide a valid picture ID such as a current driver's license.
• SU Alumni and Lutheran affiliates - Eligible to obtain a free library card valid for one year. Alumni and Lutheran affiliates may borrow up to 10 items at a time. All applicants must provide a valid picture ID such as a current driver's license.
• Reciprocal/Consortium member - Eligible to obtain a free library card valid for one academic semester for members of a qualifying academic institution who possess a valid ID card from his/her respective institution and a valid driver's license. Reciprocal and consortium members may borrow up to 20 items at a time.

Library patrons are responsible for all items borrowed on their card. Lost library cards should be reported to the service desk immediately.
