History Databases

Does the search above give you too many results, but you're not ready to limit yourself to specific subject areas? You can search these individual databases which cover a broad range of topics.

Browsing the shelves

Instead of just searching for specific titles, you may find it useful to walk through the stacks and browse all the different titles in the same subject areas. The Blough-Weis Library organizes its books according to the Library of Congress cataloging system. Below is an outline of D through F, which includes most books on history. For a more detailed breakdown by subject, you can look at the Library of Congress outlines for D (World History and History of Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Etc.), or E-F (History of the Americas).
