Sociology Research Guide: SOCI-101 Activity

Activity 1

Working with a partner, search one of the databases for an article about your Social Fiction
Maroon partner: search SocINDEX with Full Text then discuss with your partner whether the article is relevant and why
Orange partner: search Sociological Abstracts then discuss with your partner
When you've found something that looks relevant, write the author and brief title of the article on the board

Activity 2

Working with a partner, practice citing the source you found
Maroon partner: generate a citation with SocINDEX with Full Text
Orange partner: generate a citation with Sociological Abstracts
With your partner, check the citation against the Cite It guide
When you've finished your citation, email it to sieczkiewicz@susqu.edu with the subject line "SOCI-101 citation"
